Pick up some produce along with your patch. Eating more fruits and vegetables could help you quit smoking and stay tobacco-free for longer, finds a new study from the University at Buffalo.
Smokers who consumed the most fruits and vegetables over a 14-month period were three times more likely to have ditched their nicotine fix for at least 30 days than those who didn’t eat as much produce. Participants in the first group also smoked fewer cigarettes per day and waited longer to have their first cigarette of the day, which are both signs they were doing better and resisting the habit.Click To Read More
